The City of Girard is seeking a proposal for Logging Services to be performed in the area located between Crawford Hills Golf Course and the Fairgrounds. The objective of this work is to harvest trees in the area located between Crawford Hills Golf Course and the Fairgrounds. The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals.
This completed RFP must be received no later than 4:00 p.m. local time on Oct. 11, 2019. Completed proposals must be sent to:

Proposal Evaluation and Contractor Selection
Completed proposal submitted on time will be reviewed by the Governing Body. Each member of the Governing Body will cast his vote based on those factors which he deems to be the most important. Proposal shall be considered based on the following factors:
Minimum payment and profit sharing.
Experience.
Method of approach.
Availability of labor and equipment.
The City may require any clarification or change it needs to understand the selected contractor’s project approach. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and is not liable for any costs the contractor incurs while preparing or presenting the proposal. The City reserves the right to cancel this RFP upon a good cause finding. The selected general contractor will be required to assume responsibility for all services outlined in the proposal.
