As a lifelong resident of Girard, I believe in my hometown. I'm fully committed to making this community the best it can be. Often a daunting task, but filled with rewards. I will do all I can to serve the citizens of Girard. I am a 1976 graduate of Girard High School and a 1980 graduate of Kansas State University.

I am active in Celebrate Girard, Envision Girard, and have a strong desire to see positive changes on the square. Active at First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), I continue service through Eldership, committee work and sharing of my energies in all manner of projects at the church. An employee of Crawford County, first  the Appraiser's office and currently in the Clerk's office, I will celebrate my 26th year anniversary in May. I am married to Craig, mother to Curtis and Sarah, and her husband Scott, and grandmother to Aubrey. 

Never afraid of a challenge, I try to find solutions and offer positive feedback in all situations. I am always available to anyone with concerns, questions or needs.
