Project status

Engineers are finalizing plans for the water tower project. At present, plans are to replace the two existing towers with two new towers, increasing our storage capacity from approximately 200,000 gallons to more than 500,000.  The average water pressue will raise from 40psi to 65psi.

City Council approved capital improvement projects for 2012 include the addition of a public restroom and pavilion at the Forest Street Sports Complex, repair of the storm water drainage ditch running between Summit and Cherokee, construct a new Cemetery facility which will house the adminsitrative and maintenance operation, and the remodel of the faility located at 102 N. Ozark, to house a new Civic Center, Senior Center, and Chamber of Commerce/Business Incubator.
