The Girard Chamber will - Work as Your Community Liaison:

  • Promote your business through distributed information and coupons for new Girard residents

  • Recognize your individual and business achievements in Chamber information during Business Appreciation Month, in June.

  • Regularly highlight businesses in the Girard Press (newspaper) on a monthly basis.

  • Provide recognition of advertising support of Independence Day, Fall Festival, and other community-related activities.

  • Provide ground-breaking, ribbon-cutting and other ceremonies associated with Grand Opening activities. The Girard Chamber is honored to present new business owners with their first dollar during their Grand Opening.

The Girard Chamber will - Provide Business Owners Valuable Information and Networking Opportunities:

  • Provide opportunities for Chamber members to learn more about area businesses, discuss the needs of local business owners, provide support where needed to address those needs.

  • Distribute legislative information and alerts to keep members aware of political changes that may affect your business and our region.

  • Provide information regarding business-related training opportunities through the Kansas Small Business Development Center and other sources.

  • Assist in networking business members with resources at the regional and state level that can assist in expanding and promoting their business.

  • Inform Girard residents, potential residents and businesses with information about our community.

The Girard Chamber will - Assist Businesses and the Community in Providing a Better Quality of Life:

  • Coordinate annual events such as the annual Easter Egg Hunt; Farmer's Market; Independence Day Celebration; and Fall Festival.

  • Provide personal representation for our community, businesses, and residents.

  • Assist members in participating, planning, implementing, or sponsoring community activities.
